The process of submitting a winning project proposal is sometimes challenging and time consuming. Then, when the project actually begins, new challenges may arise. Cindy Shamel and Ulla de Stricker, highly experienced KM consultants, share their experience and “secret sauce” as they shed light on strategies for incorporating feedback from clients, on reasons why complexity may surface in what appeared to be a straightforward assignment, and on approaches to managing surprises. Based on their combined 38 years of experience, they draw on countless projects to extract advice and guidance. The session is suited for anyone – regardless how new or seasoned – interested in honing negotiation skills, dealing with unforeseen project events, and charging appropriately.
